Nick’s Kids Foundation is a 501©3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children, family, teacher and student causes. The main goal continues to be to raise awareness and resources for deserving organizations throughout the state of Alabama and the Southeast.
There are four ways to request assistance from Nick’s Kids Foundation. Please read the options below to learn which form is appropriate for your request. Each inquiry is reviewed and discussed between the Nick’s Kids Foundation Board of Directors. Please allow 30 days for your request to be processed.
The Annual Funding Request Form should be completed to request monetary assistance. Each year Nick's Kids holds a Giveaway Luncheon in early fall. During this luncheon a majority of funds for the fiscal year will be distributed. The deadline for the Annual Funding Request Form to be considered for the 2024 Giveaway Luncheon is May 1, 2024. Requests received after May 1, 2024 will be considered in the 2025 Giveaway Luncheon.
Organizations that applied for Annual Funding for the 2024 Giveaway Luncheon will be notified by June 30, 2024 of the status of the request.
The General Contact Form should be utilized for specialized requests throughout the year including speaking requests and requests that are time sensitive, etc. Please be sure to give the committee ample time to process your request.
The Autograph and Auction Item Request Form can be used to inquire about receiving an autographed item for an auction to benefit a non-profit organization.
The Event Sponsorship Form should be used to request funds to sponsor a fundraising event. Please include all sponsorship event details including levels, benefits, publications, etc.
Due to NCAA Compliance Regulations, the Nick’s Kids Foundation can only make donations to non-athletically related bona fide youth organizations. Donation requests must be made in conjunction with the requesting organization’s regular fundraising activities. Donations received from the Nick’s Kids Foundation cannot be earmarked or used for (a) the benefit of a prospective student-athlete, or (b) the purpose of contributing to a boys’ basketball program. A prospective student-athlete is a student who has started classes for the ninth grade.
NCAA Regulations also prohibit the Nick’s Kids Foundation from donating items or memorabilia that will be used (a) in fundraising events for any high school organization, (b) in a high school fundraising event that will benefit a charity or educational project, (c) to benefit any high school or prospective student-athlete, or (d) to benefit, or for the purpose of contributing to, a boys’ basketball program. High school is defined as grades nine through twelve.
